Приехала мне винда 11 в патчах, лицензионная по самое не могу.
Ставилась чуть меньше часа.

Пока что скажу. Кнопка пуск по центру - ебанина какая-то.
В запиненном тикток, инста, фейсбук и еще какая-то говнина.
Вайфай и звук подтянулись сразу.
Игры пока не пробовал.
Кнопка new desktop - странная какая-то. линуксом отдает.
Windows.old отожрала 12 гб. И 21 гб новая.
продолжаю наблюдение.

Только только June 29, 2021 вышел Exchange Server 2019 CU10, только я его в лабе раскатал и собрался ставить - как July 13, 2021 выкатывают Exchange Server 2019 CU10 Jul21SU
Причем с пометками мелким шрифтом -

Мы подписаны на сервис оффис365 со всеми свистоперделками. Всей конторой. Для всех нужд, вроде как. Ну и решили у нас использовать там специальный ящик, куда раз в месяц будет накатывать волна отчетов. Волна неслабая - порядка 5 тыс. мейлов в один ящик, размером от 500 байт (точнее, там шапка навороченная и в десять раз больше размером) и до 25МБ. Майкрософтовский аймап справлялся с этим потоком кое-как, клиент, который посматривал в ящик, мог случайно получить отказ в доступ на полчаса и т.д. Связались с саппортом, и костариканец по имени Себастьян довольно быстро и толково разобрался в наших проблемах и предложил определенные оптимизации.

Microsoft already announced it end of last year: With the next patchday, all new updates for the older Windows versions, will be delivered with SHA-2 signatures only. If your clients or WSUS (If it runs on Server 2008R2 or older) are not fully patched, you might not be able to download/install new updates.

Это такая интересная узкому кругу лиц тему про CPU affinity, а точнее про то, как и почему и за сколько времени (10 или 100 наносекунд) идет переключение и исполнение всякого разного в винде и варе.
Ну и, конечно, на закуску давали "почему x86 с его шиной говно, и как сделать больше 12 сетевых адаптеров в гипер-в".

Я ж тут систему переставлял, и так вышло что в старой системе у меня была честная законная ЛГБТ, а в новой конечно ничего такого уже не наблюдалось.

Windows Server licensing permits use of the software in both the physical OSE (an instance of the software serving as the host operating system (or OS) in the case of a virtualized server) and virtual OSEs (instances of the software running as guest OS’s). If Windows Server is deployed on a server is running a hypervisor on bare metal (directly on top of the server hardware), such as VMware’s ESX/ESXi, then Windows Server will not be deployed as a host OS in the physical OSE. However, the guest OS instances deployed and running in virtual OSEs on the server still must be appropriately licensed. This means licenses must be assigned to the server for all the physical cores on the server (subject to a minimum of eight per processor and 16 per server). Standard edition will allow up to two instances on each fully licensed server (plus a third instance in the physical OSE, if it is used solely to host and manage virtual OSEs) and Datacenter edition will allow an unlimited number of instances on each fully licensed server. (The right to run an instance of Windows Server in the physical OSE is not relevant in the case of ESX/ESXi hosting the virtualization layer.)

The solution I found is to go to Control Panel, and click on Region. When the new window opens, on the top, click on the Administrative tab. In the Welcome screen and new windows accounts section, click on the Copy settings... button. Another window should open..

Выхватил интересный баг в Win10 - раскладок клавиатур стало три, EN/EN, RU/RU и RU/EN
Причем третья раскладка не отображалась ни в каких глубинах GUI.

Помогло создание в реестре в ветке
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Keyboard Layout
ключа (переменной) DWORD IgnoreRemoteKeyboardLayout
со значением 1.
